This resource will help you understand the finer points of techniques and gives you a great guide for home practice, enabling you to fine tune what you have been taught in your lessons..

However, the study of this online material is not a substitute for the real training performed during kata classes. We remind all students that a minimum number of kata classes must be attended before being allowed to take a grade exam. Remember, if you are really struggling with a kata, you can arrange private lessons with Sensei Redman for additional tuition.

Many videos on this section show Sensei Gary Swift demonstrating the Wado Ryu katas which are taught as part of the Kenagi Academy syllabus. White Belts Students:

To help our beginners, please study the first form in the syllabus, Kihon Kata, meaning basic kata. It is shown here as demonstrated by Lorna Harty one of Kenagi's black belt students.
